KIRAN RAO :Aamir khan's helping hand

Kiran Rao: Aamir Khan's helping hand

Aamir Khan was in a bit of a crisis when some differences cropped up between him and Amol Gupte, the original director of Taare Zameen Par.

It was his wife Kiran Rao who solved his dilemma and asked him to direct the film himself. Now, Rao is also helping him with the post-production work of Taare Zameen Par .

A source from Aamir Khan Productions says, “Aamir is extremely busy at the moment, correcting the prints and having promotional meetings. Colour correction and mixing will commence from the December 5. Amidst all this, he lost 20 days due to the Faisal Khan case. He gets to sleep only for a couple of hours.”

So, Kiran decided to help him out with the post-production work. Says our source, “She is involved with everything from sub-titling to print checking and as well as the first copy of the film.

Aamir and Kiran have divided the work among themselves. Kiran is working like a second unit in the film.”
